Jun 17, 2026"Wow ! What can I say ? What a wonderful dining experience is what I can say. El Taquito #2 in Hayward California has got to be one of the best Mexican American restaurants I've been to in my 53 years. As soon as I walked into the restaurant in the late afternoon there was plenty of seating and I was soon welcomed and helped in regards to being served. As I looked at the menu I was so pleased with the vast number of choices I had to choose from for my meal. I was in the mood for a giant Carnitas wet burrito and I was soon to find out that I would not be disappointed. That burrito had got to have been one of the best burritos that I had ever had. In addition, my food server was very kind and welcoming. Even the restaurant itself has a nice Mexican ambience with hispanic art and Mexican music played in the background. There is also a patio in front of the place should anyone choose to eat outside on a sunny day. I am very fortunate that such a great Mexican restaurant exists right here in my own neighborhood and you can surely bet that I will return very soon to try some of their other excellent looking dishes. I highly recommend this eatery if you enjoy fresh authentic delicious Mexican cuisine served in a timely manner with excellent hospitality. Until then happy eating !"
